About Taha’a

The island of Taha’a is often called the Vanilla Island as 80% of all Tahitian Vanilla is grown on the island. Taha`a is only accessible by boat from the neighbouring island Raiatea. Much less visited than Bora Bora and less populated than its neighbouring Raiatea, Taha’a is one of the most beautiful islands in French Polynesia, with lush vegetation, crystal clear waters and beautifully clad vanilla plantations under the central shape of Mount Ohiri and a small single road circling the island. The island also boasts stunning views of Bora Bora rising out of the South Pacific on the horizon.
