About Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa

Elegant property inspired by traditional Polynesia style, located on its own islet awarded “Best place to stay in French Polynesia” by Conde Nast Traveler in 2011 and part of the Relais and Chateaux collection. The resort was built in harmony with the surrounding nature, hosting 57 overwater suites and beach villas. There are 3 restaurants and 2 bars on the islet, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center. The Spa by Le Taha’a is nestled in an intimate tropical garden overlooking the peaceful laguna and surrounded by bamboo trees.

Why we recommend it: The only Relais & Chateaux property in the Islands of Tahiti; 58 remarkable suites and villas inspired by timeless traditional Polynesian architecture and style; Set on beautiful Motu Tautau.

Description:

The entire resort was built around the endemic flora. The Owners' wish was to keep the resort as natural and as green as possible, using seaweed as fertilizer. Beautiful and venerable trees, colorful flowers and plants cover the resort's grounds, making our motu quite an exceptional site even by Polynesian standards. You will not even see club cars driving around the property, because we value your serenity above all else.
